Dar Williams: How to Write a Song that Matters–Songwriting workshop

  • Stoughton Opera House 381 E. Main St. Stoughton, WI 53589 (map)

We are celebrating the release of How to Write a Song that Matters with afternoon songwriting workshops. Here's how they’ll work: I will discuss the insights I gleaned from ten years of retreat leading and deconstruct one of my songs. During a break, we’ll pull names out of a hat for  songs that you are working on (ideally where "the ink is still wet" and you'd like some helpful feedback). We’ll probably have time for five or six songs, plus some time to recap and talk about how to keep inspiring ourselves, our peers, and our communities, musical and otherwise.

P.S.: You don’t have to submit a song if you’d just like to observe!

Workshop attendance is limited to 25 participants and is not included with other promotions. Please call the Box Office for tickets.
