The historic Stoughton Opera House is located in Stoughton, WI just a few minutes south-east of Madison. The theater plays host to a wide variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the season - rock, folk, classical, oddities, comedy...you name it. Madlen Breckbill Recital

Madlen Breckbill (viola), a Stoughton native, Micah Behr (piano) and Zou Zou Robideaux (cello) will present a special recital program at 7:00 pm, August 8 at the Stoughton Opera House. The program will be Beethoven, Brahms and Hindemith. 

Music Appreciation members may remember Madlen from early presentations in the Music Appreciation Series in the early 2000s. She and her brother(cello) and sister (violin) performed beautifully for Music Appreciation quite often when they were in Middle School and High School. Well, Madlen has grown up. She is a UW Madison Music Performance grad, a graduate of the Glenn Gould School of Music at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, Canada and is now performing with the Berlin Konzerthaus Acadamie in Berlin, Germany. Her co-players, John and Zou zou are UW Music Graduates.
