The historic Stoughton Opera House is located in Stoughton, WI just a few minutes south-east of Madison. The theater plays host to a wide variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the season - rock, folk, classical, oddities, comedy...you name it. Music Appreciation: The Retro Swing Band of Madison

This band of passionate retirees performs energetic tunes of the 30s and 40s. Members hail from Baraboo, Cross Plains, Whitewater, and beyond. Stoughton is represented by Roger Gohlke and Dick Mullen. Come and join us for a journey down Memory Lane. Your toe will be a tappin'!

This is an hour long program of the Music Appreciation Series organized by John Beutel and sponsored by the Stoughton Area Senior Center, The Stoughton Opera House, a grant from the Bryant Foundation, and the donations from attendees. The sessions are free and open to the public.
