The Gibson Brothers

The Gibson Brothers emerged onto the bluegrass scene plucking away with unfaltering determination and skill, Leigh on guitar and Eric on banjo. A blend of powerhouse harmonies and virtuosic picking, their live performance reflect their dedicated and developed musicianship. The twice-voted IBMA Entertainers of the Year have always been inspired by brother duos such as the Monroes, the Louvins, and the Everlys, whose close harmonies have captivated listeners for decades. Their 2015 album Brotherhood salutes such groups with songs spanning nearly a century of American music history from country, bluegrass, and early rock ‘n’ roll brother acts. The tradition of families singing together stretches back through the history of folk music, and with 20 years of professional musicianship behind them, the Gibson Brothers have established themselves as proud keepers of that musical heritage.
