Howdy, everybody!

I have just a couple things and I’ll be on my way.

First of all, I want to say Thank You to everyone who popped over to our YouTube channel Monday night to celebrate the Opera House’s 120th birthday and watch the inaugural episode of “Almost Live”! It was so great to have Christina back on the stage and to hear music in the room again. The sound and video quality was excellent and so was the support we received from patrons and friends across the country.

“Almost Live” will be streaming free from the Opera House stage every Thursday night at 7:30 and you can get to it from right here. So pull up a comfy chair and grab your favorite beverage because you have a front row seat.

In addition to the virtual events, we also have some Limited Edition Commemorative Artisan Tiles made by our friends at Andersen Designs. They are available for pre-order with the first shipment going out on Friday, April 2nd. More information can be found here or click on the photo at the top of the page.

Finally, I’ve heard from some of your friends that you’re helping spread the word about our need for more ushers. Thanks and thanks again! We’ve put together an application that will make the process a little easier. Feel free to pass it on. We’re still on the hunt for Head Ushers. I’m going to be reaching out to some of you in the coming weeks, but if you think you’d like to give it a go, I’m happy to share more info.
