The historic Stoughton Opera House is located in Stoughton, WI just a few minutes south-east of Madison. The theater plays host to a wide variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the season - rock, folk, classical, oddities, comedy...you name it. Known for sublime acoustics and an early 20th century aesthetic, don't pass on a chance to see a show or just pay a visit to the Stoughton Opera House.

Music Appreciation: Tom Macaluso, Trombone

We know the trombone as a regular member of the symphony orchestra and popular music, but seldom get to hear it as a solo instrument.  Tom is a Doctoral Student at UW majoring in trombone and will perform a wide variety of solo pieces for the trombone. Come hear this instrument up close and personal.

This is an hour long program of the Music Appreciation Series sponsored by the Stoughton Area Senior Center and organized by John Beutel.  The sessions are free and open to the public.
